CiCi’s Awarded to Three Utah Companies

The Governor’s Office of Economic Development is pleased to recognize the three Utah recipients of Trade & Industry Development magazine’s prestigious Corporate Investment and Community Impact (CiCi) Awards: Lehi-based IM Flash Technologies (Corporate Investment), eBay in Draper and South Jordan, and Salt Lake City’s ITT Exelis (Community Impact).

Recipients of the CiCi Awards will be further recognized at the Governor’s Utah Economic Summit on April 10, 2012. Mary Helen Sprecher, managing editor for Due North Media, publisher of Trade & Industry Development, is traveling to Utah to present these unique and prestigious corporate awards.

The Governor’s Economic Summit is co-produced by GOED and MediaOne of Utah and is the state’s premier economic development event for accelerating business growth. The event highlights the productive collaboration of the state and companies seeking to grow in Utah and the global marketplace.

Trade & Industry Development magazine’s singular CiCi Awards recognize corporate locations and investments with a focus on both the company investing in the community and the economic developers responsible for securing that investment.

Each year, the magazine recognizes the top 30 companies in the two distinct categories of Corporate Investment and Community Impact. Three out of 30 receiving the corporate awards are in Utah.
