3D Systems Corporation has been named a finalist in the Consumer Electronics Computers and Peripherals category for the 2012 TechAmerica Foundation American Technology Awards (ATA's). The ATA's cross the technology industry recognizing technology products and services like Cube(R) home 3D Printer. The corporate awards winners will be announced at the Technology and Government gala dinner in Washington, D.C. on June 13, 2012.
"We are grateful and honored to be selected as a finalist in two categories by ATA for our game changing Cube(R), the first ever at home 3D Printer," said Rajeev Kulkarni, Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Solutions for 3D Systems. The corporate awards, also known as the "Termans" in honor of the widely credited father of Silicon Valley, are awarded on the basis of a thorough evaluation by industry experts and technology leaders.
